Rockville – Roscoe C. Hockett, 90, of 212 W. High St., died at 7 a.m. Friday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. Mr. Hockett was a retired farmer and a member of Marshall Federated Church. Born Aug. 3, 1890, at Marshall, he was a son of Lucien and Martha Bannon Hockett. He was married in 1916 to Margie Chumley, who preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, Austin Hockett of Marshall, and nine nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Madge; two sisters; and two brothers. Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Tudor-Herrick-Miller Memorial Chapel at Rockville with the Rev. J.O. Trousdale officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. -- smc
